JUMO is a lifelong California resident, growing up in San Diego and moving to San Francisco in 2019. She studied at the University of San Francisco, graduating in 2024 with her BA in Biology and a minor in Design while competing on the Cross Country and Track & Field team.

A note from JUMO :

I’ve always thought that it would be such a fun job to be a tattoo artist — I loved creating art as a hobby — but I never really thought that it would be realistic for me to get into professionally.

In 2022, I had decided to stay in SF over the summer instead of going back home and came across a social media post about an apprenticeship opportunity. I spent the next few days drawing so I could present a portfolio to apply. I ended up landing the apprenticeship and never looked back.

I’ve come to love this job more than I could’ve imagined. Thank you to all of my past and future clients for the continued support.
